Receivable Statement should always appear on your cheques and in any
correspondence with Skate Canada.

the National Office has a copy including all amendments. All clubs
whose constitution is dated 1993 or before should consider a complete
revision. Take this opportunity to review and update your club
constitution. A sample Club Constitution may be obtained from the
Section Office.

an associate member of Skate Canada each year. The Skate Canada

register with Skate Canada (Rule 2401 and 2402) and pay fees.
Paid up coaches will be issued a Skate Canada Coaching Membership Card
for the new Membership Year (September 1st - August 31st).
Please ensure your address details are complete and current, including
postal code, as your Skate Canada Membership Card will be sent directly
to you from the National Office.
A person who did not register as a Skate Canada Coaching Member in the
previous membership year will be considered a new coach for the purpose
of registration and charged the New Coaching Member Fee.
The $134.80 registration fee for new coaches and the $100.80 fee for
renewal provides a "coaching membership" in Skate Canada, contributes
to the development of the National Coaching Certification Program
(NCCP) courses, funds information mailings as well other services that
are provided to coaches from Skate Canada. The $34.00 fee is the annual
premium for liability insurance coverage and the $0.80 insurance
premium provides accident insurance coverage (Rule 2401(b)).
The Skate Canada Registration form will NOT be processed without the
Coach's signature, appropriate fees and a copy of the First Aid
Certificate.
It is important that the coach's date of birth be reported accurately
on the coach's registration form. This information is used in the Skate
Canada computer validation process to ensure that the coach has not
been registered under a different registration number.
Please note: 20% of the Coaches Membership fee is returned to Skate
Canada - Saskatchewan.
